Pahadi Pudina Wala Namak

Himalayan Rock Salt with Mountain Mint | Traditionally Ground

Crafted in the Himalayan region using naturally mineral-rich rock salt, our Pahadi Pudina Wala Namak is blended with dried mountain mint for a refreshing, earthy flavour.

The salt is traditionally ground in small batches and prepared with care, preserving its natural texture and taste. Unlike refined table salt, this is unbleached, free from additives, and minimally processed.

The mint adds a cooling, aromatic touch that enhances everyday meals effortlessly.

Our Sil Batta Tradition

All our Himalayan salts are hand-ground using a traditional sil batta — a stone slab and roller used in Indian kitchens for generations.

Unlike high-speed machine grinding, sil batta processing is slow and gentle. It generates minimal heat, helping preserve the natural texture, mineral character, and aroma of both the salt and the herbs blended with it.

This method may take more time and effort, but it keeps the product closer to how it has been prepared in Himalayan homes for decades — simple, honest, and unprocessed.

Why Sil Batta Matters

Sil batta grinding is slow and manual, generating minimal heat compared to machines. This helps preserve the natural flavour and texture of both salt and herbs — just as it has been done in Himalayan homes for generations.
